I enjoy combining contrasting flavors! It adds an extra zing to every dish. This Cantaloupe Salsa Recipe exemplifies this, with a primary sweet flavor profile complemented by a touch of savory.
This simple dish is excellent for a snack, starter or as a side.

A quick note about Cantaloupe. Did you know that cantaloupe has more beta-carotene than:
apricots
grapefruit
oranges
peaches
tangerines
nectarines
mangoes.
Beta carotene is converted by the body into vitamin A or used as a potent antioxidant to combat free radicals that attack cells.
Vitamin A is important to:
eye health
red blood cells
a healthy immune system
This is just one benefit of eating cantaloupes. They also contain various vitamins, minerals, and high fiber that are advantageous for us.
You know me, I love a healthy and delicious dish! Let's get to it, shall we?!
